Aimee is an author, speaker, discipler of young women, and the creator of Aim for Him blog at AimeeSimmons.com. She encourages young women to aim for Him first, embrace abundant life with Jesus, and share Him with others. She and her husband, Steve, live in Atlanta, Georgia.

Aimee works at RZIM and has over 20 years of ministry experience working in church and parachurch organizations in the areas of discipleship for children and teens, marketing, and communications.

As a staff member at one of the largest churches in Atlanta, Perimeter Church, she received training in Life-on-Life Missional Discipleship, a ministry of global impact. At Perimeter, she created curricula for children and students, recruited and trained group leaders, discipled young women and girls, served as a speaker, and came alongside families in crisis situations.

The topics she writes about are often inspired by the questions of the young women she disciples. Her creative, honest, and often humorous storytelling and scripture-filled writing style help readers feel that like they are sitting across the table with a friend and mentor, enjoying conversation about God, life, love, purpose, potential, and their greatest dreams! Her writing is an arrow that points to God, equipping readers to aim for Him in their daily lives and prayers, and developing a love for His Word along the way!

Her discipleship-focused writings also serve as helpful resources and discussion starters for young women’s mentors, small group leaders, church and campus ministry staff, and parents.
